My Boy is Five Today

Happy 5th birthday to my Fiyinlicious Fiyin.😀

The one that says “Mom” and when I respond , he’d say “mommy , don’t worry”. Always wanting instant attention and if I delay, he’d say “now you’ve made me forget what I wanted to tell you”.

😀 My ‘gum gum’ baby and photo bomber. No night passes without him telling me “mommy , I love you” and then goes ahead to seal it up with a peck and a kiss 😘. Just last night, after I had shoved them off to bed 🛌 because I wasn’t ready to turn in for the night , Fiyin came back and said , “ mommy , you know I can’t go to bed without me telling you that I love you”.

That just melted my heart but in my heart I said “ hmmm…. Wait till your wife comes o.😀
This morning I played the song that had his name on it “ Fiyinfoluwa Fogofoluwa’ and invited him to the dance floor with me. You need to see my son blushing.

And for the first time , Fiyin said he wanted to celebrate his birthday today because usually , we would always merge it with Folorunsho’s birthday , which is just two days away. But my boy is five now and he’s already calling the shot. ( just kidding)
