He’s Asking for Another Baby!

Not my boys tempting me to have another baby! We went to the convention of the Impartation Christian Centre yesterday. My darling husband was the preacher for day 1. Apart from that , the pastor and his wife( mama and papa as I fondly call them) are our dear friends and it’s always a delight to share in their joy .So, we went there with the children ( to talk about the life of the pastor’s kids).

Mama has a 6 months old baby , who on sighting yesterday , I went to carry her to our seat (me sef too like children ) . Ha,if I had known I would have just ‘jejely’ left her where she was o. That’s how Folorunsho and Fiyin won’t let me rest: “ Mom, let me carry her …” at some point , I placed her on each of their laps and quickly carried her back. She fell asleep in my hands.

Yet Fiyin kept insisting that he still wanted to carry her . It wasn’t a joke o, so he started to cry . At that time , I was like “awww, wouldn’t he just make a sweet big bro? Abi, I should just have another baby ni, so that my boys can have a baby sis to dot over . I had to explain to him that it won’t be fair to give a sleeping baby to him , that once she wakes up , I’d let him have her . The next cry was that the baby was sleeping for too long , he started to say “ when is she going to wake up?” I said I don’t know , the baby sleeps for a long time . Eventually ,one of the children’s teachers came to carry her so she could sleep comfortably in her car seat. Fiyin kept peeping at her from where we sat to check if she was awake .

Prior to this time , Fiyin had told Folu and Folorunsho that he’d stop calling them Aunty and brother because no one calls him Bŕo Fiyin 😀. So, I’m now thinking ‘pe abi I should give my baby boy a baby sis that’ll be calling him brother Fiyin ni? 😀

God , I beg o. ‘Me wey I don wash and hang my 🥾. In fact , ‘no be hang I hang an sef , I don transfer am to the next candidates’. To anyone reading this and believing God for the fruit of the womb, you’re next in Jesus name .To think that as a child , ‘na so I dey make mouth say I’d have 12 children but now after 3 successful CS, I say ‘baba God I hail your name o, you don do well’.

Apart from that , it takes me like 3yrs to get myself back after having a child . I know we don’t talk about postpartum depression so much , but it’s real o.
